1. Introduction
This is the home page for the I-Name Single Sign-On (ISSO) i-service specification and related implementation materials. ISSO uses XRI resolution to discover and invoke open standard Internet authentication services to achieve a simple, standardized SSO user experience at any website that supports ISSO. For authentication ISSO V1.0 specifically supports:-
A
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) 2.0 profile defined by the ISSO specification, or
-
OpenID authentication as defined by the open public specification from Six Apart.
